Typju Mỹky

Director

Typju Mỹky is an indigenous Filmmaker and Pedagogy student, he lives in the Japuíra Village, in Myky indigenous territory, in the Brazilian Amazon. He began working in audiovisual production in 2015 and made his first documentary in 2019: “Ãjãí, the headball game of the Mỹky and Manoki”, which received awards in Brazil and internationally.

André Tupxi Lopes

Director

André Tupxi Lopes is an anthropologist and filmmaker, working with indigenous people for the last 17 years. He is a founding member of Ijã Mytyli Indigenous Cine Collective. Among some of his award-winning works, his film “New York, just another city” won the Marsh Short Film Prize in 2021, at the Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) Film Festival.
